Cold Pressed Oils GRANA - Hazelnut
The cold pressed gluten-free line of GRANA vegetable oils is an optimal solution for oral and dermal application, and our cold pressing technology preserves all their valuable ingredients: simple and complex unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, lecithins, flavonoids, aromas, and proteins. Thanks to this, their action is not limited to individual organic systems, but encompasses the action on the entire organism!
All our oils, except for black cumin (due to climate), are locally sourced and freshly produced in smaller batches!
Hazelnut oil is obtained by extracting from the dry fruits of the hazel, has an amber-yellow color and a very pleasant taste.
In addition to being an excellent afternoon snack or treat, hazelnuts are a food rich in many nutrients such as proteins, vitamins E and A, fiber, healthy fats, and oleic acid. Hazelnut oil contains thiamine (vitamin B1), vitamin B6, as well as smaller amounts of other B vitamins, and vitamin E. Hazelnut oil is considered a premium oil due to the method and usability in processing.
Hazelnut oil is suitable for cooking and gives a rich nutty aroma to many dishes, especially healthy desserts. When taken orally, the oil also contributes to normal metabolism and cholesterol function.
Hazelnut oil is primarily recommended for dermal use due to its exceptional effects on the skin: it absorbs very quickly and does not leave a greasy residue on the skin, acts astringently, and contributes to normal circulation function. For this reason, hazelnut oil is the first choice for oily skin. With prolonged application, hazelnut oil will make the skin look fresher and firmer, which is especially beneficial for dry and mature skin that appears tired. Sensitive skin will benefit from the use of hazelnut oil as it is extremely gentle and does not cause irritation. In hair care products and formulas, it is used for its ability to prolong color duration. For oily scalps, natural masks and hair packs are recommended.
