The journey of Malvasia Ribca begins with a meticulous process – picked the grapes when they are strongly mature, followed by a 3-week maceration period separately (Muscat and Malvasia). Fermentation is initiated by the indigenous yeasts from the vineyard, showcasing the authentic terroir of our farm. The wine then matures on lees in used oak barrels for two years.
This wine is a sensorial delight, offering notes of white chocolate, muscat nuts, and a hint of cinnamon, but at the same time some fresh tropical aromas from the muscat parts. Slightly high acids, combined with noble volatiles, provide a mouth-cleansing freshness, making it an ideal companion for various intense dishes but also a light salad.

Traditionally, in the vineyards of Malvasia in Slovenian Istria, there were always a few vines of Muscat, but no one ever dared to call a wine "cùve". Muscat brings strength with its aromas, while Malvasia boasts a robust body. Together, they tell a long-lasting story.
