Silybum is a biennial, herbaceous, large, and branched plant. It is also known by names such as milk thistle, holy thistle, silybin, donkey salad, prickly thistle, colorful thistle, etc. It is a steppe and rocky plant native to southern Europe, Central Asia, and North Africa.
Since the Middle Ages, silybum has been highly valued and used for various types of ailments.
Why Silybum Oil?
Silybum oil is used in nutrition as well as for external use. Silybum oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are very significant for the health of the entire organism. It is also rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids, and besides these two fatty acids, it contains vitamin E, which is very important for skin health. The oil has antioxidant rather than hepatoprotective effects!
You can use Silybum oil as an addition to dishes that do not require thermal processing or as a dietary supplement.

Silybum oil can be used for preparing cold dishes, hot soups, and sauces.
It can be used as a seasoning on salads, drizzled into smoothies, seasoned on cold vegetable dishes, added to morning oatmeal, used cold – do not heat and pay attention to dosage.
