Walnuts are not only a delicious addition to food and desserts but also a nutritional powerhouse. They contain a wealth of proteins and fibers, as well as numerous "good" fats, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, manganese, selenium, and vitamins B, E, and K. The taste of GRANA walnut oil is rich, delicate, and pleasant as it is produced in small batches from controlled cultivation. Walnut oil can be used daily – on its own before or after meals, for preparing sauces, salads, or desserts.
The main characteristic of walnuts is their richness in antioxidants and alpha-linolenic acid.
According to some sources, gargling walnut oil has traditionally been used for low vision and cataracts. One teaspoon of walnut oil is gargled in the mouth for one minute and then swallowed.
Culinary applications:
Walnut oil can be used for preparing cold salads, hot soups, and sauces. Users of walnut oil emphasize that it is a real treat when combined with cheese.
It can be used in ready-made dishes as an addition to sauces, salad dressings, and roasted chicken.
It can be used as an emulsifier in various vegetable spreads, added as an emulsifier in cakes (replacing or reducing the amount of eggs), making homemade mayonnaise, seasoning cold vegetable salads, and adding to morning cereals/oatmeal, smoothies, drizzling on salads and cooked grains, and it goes excellently in bread.

Usage: 1-3 tablespoons daily, on its own or in food. Can walnut oil be fried? – Yes, but briefly. Walnut oil is suitable for briefly frying vegetables, meat, and fish. Be careful not to let it start smoking. Walnut oil usually starts to smoke at 160°C.
Walnut oil is completely safe and very rarely causes allergies for most people. Possible side effects from excessive consumption may lead to a stronger reduction in blood sugar levels and lowering blood pressure. Although internal use of walnut oil is completely safe, it is extremely potent and can cause an inflammatory response in the intestines (nausea) in a very small percentage of highly sensitive individuals. If this occurs when consuming walnut oil, then use it only on the skin and stop consuming it orally.
