Al Dente lid with a diameter of 18 cm, made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, polished externally and satin-finished internally for easy daily cleaning. Large knob designed by Konstantin Grcic to ensure a more secure grip while also serving as a strong graphic element with a striking design. The lid fits into the body of the pot, closing securely. Serafino Zani still manufactures its pots in the company located in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel (18/10 stainless steel). This material is the only one that guarantees maximum hygiene in contact with food, almost eternal durability, and extreme ease of cleaning and maintenance. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure excellent heat distribution and resistance over time. All steel cookware pieces are equipped with a special patented thermodiffuser bottom by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' inside a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this bottom allows optimal heat distribution across the body of the pot with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using utensils on gas, electric plates, glass-ceramic, and induction. All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the body of the pot. The lid fits into a conical shape that prevents it from bouncing during cooking and allows steam to escape without wasting heat.
