Anahí Blanco

The Anahí Blanco wine is a semi-sweet wine, produced in Laguardia, a privileged place in Rioja Alavesa by winemaker Javier San Pedro Ortega, a member of the fifth generation of a family of viticulturists. A wine dedicated to his mother, a great lover of semi-sweet wines.

Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja

Variety: Malvasia, Sauvignon blanc, Tempranillo blanco

Production:
Vines planted between 400 and 650 meters above sea level. The must from the destemmed Tempranillo and Malvasia grapes ferments until all sugars are consumed, while the fermentation of the Sauvignon blanc tank is stopped to add the sweet touch to the final blend.

The result is a wine with a fantastic balance between acidity and sweetness, very easy to drink and understand, with a wide range of pairing options.

Tasting:
Visual: Its color is yellow with greenish reflections, with tropical aromas (pineapple) and ripe peaches.
Nose: Green apple and pineapple, with hints of canned pear.
Palate: On the palate, it is sufficiently fresh despite its syrupy notes and relatively complex for its youth.

Pairing:
A wine to be enjoyed chilled, especially in summer.

Alcohol Content: 11%

The project arose from the idea of producing wines with old vineyards from Laguardia, and that is why we say that La Taconera is the origin of everything: our singular vineyard, planted in 1920, is one of our 8 municipal wines. With vineyards over 20 years old, we produce our Viuda Negra wines; we also have young vines with which we currently produce the Cueva de Lobos wine range.

We are committed to the land, as the care we give today to our vineyards will be reflected in the wines we will enjoy in the future. We seek balance in the plant and to interfere as little as possible in its natural process, eliminating the use of herbicides and systemic products.
