We offer you a fig and... blackcurrant pepper jam. All French, of course, and made in our laboratory in Paris as always! A jam that works just as well in the morning right out of bed on your toast as it does at mealtime with a cheese platter. But what is blackcurrant pepper? It is a spice made from blackcurrant buds that have been ground into powder. The buds used this way do not have the sweet taste of blackcurrant but bring a little "peppery" note while retaining the slight acidity of blackcurrant. This spice with woody and floral notes enhances the "round" flavor of (very) large pieces of figs for a unique and addictive recipe. Also available in a small format. Jar 250g. Price/kg: 59.60€
