It allows it to become magic, consolation, pleasure.” Roberto Zani Just for flowers are six small single-flower vases, each produced in a limited series of 49 pieces, designed by Ettore Sottsass for the Metallia project by Serafino Zani. Each piece bears the designer's signature on the bottom and is accompanied by a certificate of uniqueness and authenticity. Six small architectures of pewter: fragments of walls arranged to define hollow volumes, small wavy walls and slender cylinders that support each other with unstable balances, creating repeated plays of light and shadow. Basic volumes, deliberately incomplete, that give this ancient material new chromatic accents, restoring contemporaneity and emotion to it. So that contemporary pewter continues to tell new stories in everyday life. The six vases in the collection have been made in a number of 49 specimens for each piece, signed by the author and accompanied by a certificate that certifies their authenticity.
