Finca La Emperatriz Singular Vineyard White 2017
The Finca La Emperatriz white singular vineyard wine is made with Viura from singular vineyards that are over 60 years old. The oak, perfectly integrated, accompanies an expressive wine, with great freshness and a long, persistent finish, with nods to the traditional aged whites of Rioja.

Varieties: 100% viura
Production: Selection table. Maceration for 6 hours with skins.
Half of the wine fermented in a concrete tank and the other half in a 225-liter barrel. 4 months of aging on the lees with very spaced battonage.
Aging: 8 months in barrel and 10 months in concrete tank. French oak, 1/3 new, 1/3 one wine, and 1/3 two wines.
Tasting: On the nose, it recalls lemon, guava peel, smoked almond, dried grass, and tobacco. On the palate, it presents a medium body, with a spicy acidity that remains persistent until the end.
Pairing: Vegetables, Salads, White fish, Rice dishes.
Serving temperature: 8 ºC
