This is a broad and articulated program that, in continuity with the past, develops the theme of the everyday through the use of this material and explores all the classic types of tableware and kitchenware, extending to accessories and furnishings. The program places steel and its truest attitude as a solid and durable industrial material at the center of a search for objects that aims primarily to “redesign” the kitchen and the common table, rooted in popular memory, with contemporary languages, to make it suitable for people of different tastes and cultures. The name chosen by Ettore Sottsass, with a good dose of irony, emphasizes the idea of an everyday life that loves the quiet normality of simple things that work well, of great quality, which high-level design knows how to interpret.
