Lux, pan with a diameter of 28 cm, without lid. Series of cookware made of 18/10 stainless steel, externally polished to a mirror finish, the Lux line is suitable for induction and ceramic glass cooktops, as well as traditional cooking surfaces. The high-thickness thermodiffuser base is composed of 99% aluminum, encased in a layer of steel: this allows for an even distribution of heat across the entire body of the utensil. Serafino Zani still manufactures its pots in the company located in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel (18/10 stainless steel). This material is the only one that guarantees maximum hygiene in contact with food, almost eternal durability, and extreme ease of cleaning and maintenance. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure excellent heat distribution and resistance over time. All steel cooking pieces are equipped with a special patented thermodiffuser base by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' inside a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this base allows for optimal heat distribution on the body of the pot with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using the utensils on gas, electric plates, ceramic glass, and induction. All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the body of the pot. The lid fits into a conical shape that prevents it from bouncing during cooking and releasing steam, thus wasting heat.
