ACTION AND APPLICATION: Substances from marigold flowers promote wound healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance the regeneration of skin and mucous membrane tissues, and they also possess antimicrobial effects. In folk medicine, marigold is used for treating warts on the skin. It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as for children under 12 years old.
PREPARATION: Pour 1-3 g (3-4 teaspoons) of the plant with 150 ml of boiling water, cover and let it steep for 10-15 minutes, then strain. Rinse or gargle with this prepared tea several times a day. For external, local application, make compresses from linen or gauze soaked in tea and place them on the injured areas, changing them several times a day.
