Oasi lid with a diameter of 18 cm, satin stainless steel. Made of finely satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel, the Oasi series is characterized by its Nordic design with a perfectly cylindrical body shape, the significant design of the handles, and the generous thickness of the material. Produced in Italy, Oasi embodies the typical characteristics of Serafino Zani's production: the use of high-quality and thick materials, great attention to details and finishes, and the inclusion of a patented heat-diffusing base, ensuring uniform heat conductivity and consequent optimization of energy consumption. Serafino Zani still manufactures its pots in the company located in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel (inox 18/10). This material is the only one that guarantees maximum hygiene in contact with food, almost eternal durability, and extreme ease of cleaning and maintenance. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure excellent heat distribution and dimensional stability over time. All steel cookware pieces are equipped with a special patented heat-diffusing base by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' within a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this base allows for optimal heat distribution across the pot body with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using utensils on gas, electric plates, glass-ceramic, and induction. All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the pot body. The lid fits into a conical shape that prevents it from bouncing during cooking and releasing steam, thus wasting heat.
