Serafino Zani manufactures its pots in the company located in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure a constant distribution of heat and durability over time. The pot is equipped with the special patented thermodiffuser bottom by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' inside a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this bottom allows for optimal heat distribution across the body of the pot with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using utensils on gas, electric plates, glass-ceramic, and induction. The edge of the pot has a conformation that allows for very precise fitting of the lid, preventing steam from escaping quickly, wasting heat, and causing the lid to rattle. The handles of Serafino Zani are designed to significantly slow down the transmission of heat, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the body of the pot. Specifically, the handles are made from a rod of 18/10 stainless steel, bent into an arc and subsequently worked at the welded part to make the weld more resistant to impacts. The highly curved shape of the handles makes it easy to grip and slows down overheating due to proximity to the body of the pot.
