SCANDIA - LID 14 cm - SERAFINO ZANI
Lid made of 18/10 stainless steel Scandia ø 14 cm. The exterior is polished to a mirror finish, with a finely satin interior. Scandia embodies the typical characteristics of Serafino Zani's production: the use of high-quality, thick materials, great attention to detail and finishes, and the inclusion of the patented Zani heat-diffusing base. Serafino Zani manufactures its pots in the Lumezzane facility in Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure consistent heat distribution and durability over time. The edge of the lid is shaped to allow for very precise fitting, preventing steam from escaping quickly during use, wasting heat, and causing the lid to rattle. The handles of Serafino Zani are designed to significantly slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the pot body. Specifically, the knob is made from a rod of 18/10 stainless steel, bent into an arc and then flattened at the welded part to make the weld more resistant to impacts. The highly curved shape of the knob makes it easy to grip and slows down overheating due to proximity to the pot body.
