Serafino Zani still manufactures its pots in the company in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel (18/10 stainless steel). This material is the only one that guarantees maximum hygiene in contact with food, almost eternal durability, and extreme ease of cleaning and maintenance. The steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses that ensure excellent heat distribution and non-deformability over time. All steel cookware pieces are equipped with a special patented heat-diffusing bottom by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' inside a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this bottom allows optimal heat distribution over the pot body with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using utensils on gas, electric plates, ceramic glass, and induction. All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the pot body. The lid fits into a conical shape that prevents it from jumping during cooking and allows steam to escape without wasting heat. The design philosophy of Serafino Zani has always been based on aesthetic-technological research and maximum satisfaction of the end user, through the creation of everyday objects that are of high quality, pleasant to use, and do not create discomfort or maintenance difficulties.
