Born from a family bar in Amsterdam, Coolenator was invented by Edward to solve the summer hassle of enjoying every last sip of your wine and champagne.

Today, with Amy as Managing Director, we create stylish and active cooling coolers loved in homes and hospitality worldwide.

"The name came from the Terminator, terminating warm drinks."

The idea for Coolenator started years ago in the Van Noord family’s hospitality business in Amsterdam. Summers always brought one constant challenge: keeping wine and champagne cold without endless ice, dripping buckets, or constantly running back and forth to the fridge. As a family who love slow dining and summer evenings outside with a crisp glass of rosé, we were often disappointed when the last half of the bottle was lukewarm, wasting good wine or bubbly.

Edward, always an entrepreneur and inventor at heart, decided to create a solution. After many years, different product phases, and plenty of trial and error, he finally landed on the Coolenator with its removable freezer bullet.

Coolenator soon took on a life of its own and is now run by a small team led by Edward’s daughter, Amy. Today, we offer a diverse range of coolers: helping businesses with professional cooling solutions, creating unique personalized corporate gifts, and offering stylish, practical ways to keep drinks cold without ice.
