Rioja Carán White Wine

The Caran White wine is a Limited Edition of 6000 bottles. Hand-picked, selected, and staggered harvest of different white grape varieties. Each variety is processed separately.

Variety: Blend of 5 varieties: Tempranillo Blanco, Viura, Garnacha Blanca, Malvasía, and Chardonnay.

Production:
Crushing of destemmed grapes and cold maceration with their skins for 2 days in smart stainless steel tanks.
Obtaining high-quality free-run juice and initial fermentation at a controlled temperature of 13-15°C, followed by alcoholic fermentation in French and American oak barrels and in new French oak fudres.
Aged in the same barrels and fudres with fine lees for 6 months. Daily battonage of the barrels during the first three months of aging. Blending of the wines at the end of their aging.

Tasting:
Color: Golden yellow with metallic shine and greenish reflections.
Aroma: Very expressive and complex. A symphony of aromas of passion fruit, mango, peach, ripe pineapple, citrus, pear, banana, wrapped in pleasant notes of pastry, vanilla, and biscuit, with a floral background. Intense, fine, and elegant nose.
Palate: With a sweet entry, it is voluminous, unctuous, with great refreshing acidity. Very good balance and harmony. It has a perfumed retronasal finish. Very persistent, fine, and long finish. Delicious, flavorful, and sapid.

Pairing:
Serving temperature: 10-12ºC.
Pairs well with all types of dishes from the simplest to the most complex.
