Kortariko Borda is a dream and a life project that has endured for many years and continues to be a reality. We are a family-run farm that has inherited the tradition of raising and caring for our livestock since always. About 7 years ago, we decided to take a step further, moving from selling sheep and cow milk to cheese production, thus marking the birth of our cheese factory.
One of the most outstanding and awarded cheeses from Quesería Kortaria is Infernuko Gasna, under the direction of Julen Arburua. This cheese enjoys the prestigious designation of origin Idiazabal.
