ACTION AND APPLICATION: Coastal heather is used both as a spice and in dishes made with beans, meat, and poultry. It mixes well with other herbs such as oregano, sage, thyme, and bay leaf. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 12 years old.
PREPARATION: To prepare tea, pour 1 teaspoon of the herb with 150 ml of hot water (1 cup) and let it steep covered for 10-15 minutes. Then strain. Drink 3-4 cups daily of the tea prepared this way.
