Malvazija Ribca 2025 – malvasia with an aromatic touch of muscat
Malvazija Ribca 2025 originates from the old Istrian logic of vineyards, where individual muscat vines often grew among the malvasia vines. Malvazija gives the wine body and structure, while muscat adds aromatic breadth. Together, they create a wine with a long, vibrant, and very gastronomic story.
Three weeks on the skins
The grapes were harvested at full ripeness, and malvazija and muscat were separately macerated for about three weeks. Fermentation occurred spontaneously with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard.
Two years on the lees
The wine aged for two years on the lees in used oak barrels. This gave it texture and maturity while retaining a nice acidity and freshness.
In the glass
The aroma reveals white chocolate, nutmeg, a hint of cinnamon, ripe tropical fruit, and fresh muscat notes. The taste is textured, with nice acidity and freshness that cleanses the palate and invites food.
At the table
We recommend it with fatty fish, white meat, soy dishes, fusion cuisine, vegetable plates, and fresh salads.
