Muscat 2025 – dry, aromatic, and gastronomic
Muscat 2025 is a standalone interpretation of the Muscat variety from the cellar of Domačija Butul. The wine connects to the old Istrian practice, where Muscat vines often grew alongside Malvasia in the vineyards, adding aromatic breadth to the wine.
Three days on the skins
The grapes were macerated on the skins for three days, and the fermentation preserved the varietal expression and texture of the wine.
Aging in three vessels
Aging took place in a combination of used barrique barrels, inox containers, and glass demijohns. This way, the wine maintains a balance between freshness, aroma, and calm maturity.
In the glass
Muscat is a dry wine with approximately 13.5% alcohol. The aroma reveals flowers, honey, ripe pear, and Mediterranean herbs, while the taste is medium-bodied, clean, and long.
At the table
It pairs excellently with oysters, richer seafood dishes, mature cheese with jam, fermented vegetables, Asian-inspired dishes, and aromatic vegetable plates.
