Rosé 2023 – fresh rosé from Refošk

Rosé 2023 captures the character of Refošk in a lighter, juicy, and playful form. It is a dry wine with a pronounced color, pleasant fruitiness, and freshness that beautifully connects the Istrian vineyard with relaxed moments at the table.

From the vineyards near Manžan

The Refošk grapes were harvested at the end of September on sunny southwestern slopes near Manžan. The grapes ripened to full fruitiness on the vine, and then the wine was made without maceration, from pure grape juice and without pressing.

Spontaneous and natural

Fermentation took place spontaneously at natural temperatures. This approach preserves the liveliness of the variety and emphasizes the fruity and direct character of the wine.

In the glass

Rosé has a more intense rosé color. The aroma reminds of blackberry, blueberry, ripe cherry, and fresh red fruit. The taste is full yet soft, with gentle fruity acidity, a medium-long finish, and a slight touch of vanilla.

At the table

It pairs excellently with pizza, pasta, grilled meat, vegetable dishes, Istrian cold cuts, fish with a more pronounced flavor, and light summer dishes. It is a wine that accompanies gatherings and diverse plates without complication.

Serving

Serve slightly chilled. After opening, store it in the refrigerator and enjoy in good company.
