The residence of the princes of Condé, the Château de Chantilly has always been a high place of festivities, a centuries-old theater of a certain art of living. In the old kitchens of Vatel, above which two floors of table service in tin and crystal await, impassively, the greats of Europe. Driven away by a revolution too virtuous to savor the refinement of worldly dinners, the Duke of Aumale, the last great French prince and heir of the princes of Condé, had to flee far from the Château de Chantilly, like the champagne cork from the 'oyster lunch' of Duke Jean François Troy still displayed here. He returned for good and took his revenge on the tricks of fate by creating the famous 'Dinners of the Princes' in homage to his ancestors and their guests. Legendary feasts filled with dishes and illustrious guests, the Dinners once again made the Château de Chantilly the temple of taste. Today, Chantilly and the Dinners of the Princes welcome to their table three jars of 250g of Confiture Parisienne in their white livery, titled: Blackcurrant Raspberry Lily, Apple Lily, and Strawberry Raspberry Lily.
