Description: 100% coconut laundry soap is an excellent ecological alternative to conventional detergents. It is fully biodegradable.
Due to the content of d-limonene (a natural component of the essential oil), this soap is particularly suitable for stains.
The color of the lemon flakes can range from white to lemon yellow, which depends on the essential oil. The essential oil is cold-pressed from lemons, and since it is a natural living material, each batch is unique and may vary in color and scent.
How does our soap differ from other laundry soaps?
- Our soap is 100% coconut oil. This means it has exceptional washing ability. Coconut oil soap is the only soap that lathers even in very hard water – in seawater! (The only alternative is non-ecological palm kernel soap or babassu oil soap)
- Our soap contains glycerin. This is a byproduct of saponification, and unlike mass production, we do not remove it from the soap. Glycerin is, among other things, an excellent solvent and thus improves the washing ability of our soap.
- Our soap contains sodium citrate, which is an effective water softener. It binds calcium and magnesium ions and allows our soap to wash better in hard water!
Usage: You can use the soap whole for hand washing or grate it into soap flakes for machine washing.
Using soap flakes:Pour the soap flakes directly into the washing machine drum. Depending on the degree of soiling and water hardness, add 1-2 tablespoons (15-30g) of soap for 4-5kg of laundry. For stains and disinfection, we recommend adding 1 tablespoon (15g) of Perloš only to light laundry and in the case of hard water, 1 teaspoon (5g) of Perloš to colored and dark laundry as well. Add 1 teaspoon of Citroš instead of fabric softener during rinsing. Suitable for both white and colored laundry. Washing temperatures: 40-90°C.
TIP: Because conventional laundry soap requires more mechanical movement than is present in regular washing machines, we recommend gently pre-washing heavily soiled laundry, collars, and shirt sleeves by hand before putting them in the washing machine.
Warning: The soap has an alkaline pH, and therefore should never be used for washing wool and silk.
You can use our soap flakes in many other ways! At home, our soap is used:
- for washing floors (including wooden ones) - dissolve 2 tablespoons of soap flakes in 5 liters of hot water (you can also use cold, but it takes longer)
- for washing dishes - package-free and eco-friendly - place our solid soap on a soap dish directly on the kitchen sink and use a sponge to apply the soap to the dishes
