Biarritz Bonheur – Raspberry Liqueur is an artisanal liqueur crafted in the Basque Country by Matthieu Rivera and Fabrice Dubosc, artisan liquor makers, with the collaboration of Lionel Osmin and Imanol Harinordoquy. Inspired by the historical liqueurs of the Southwest of France, it brings back the elegance, indulgence, and festive spirit of the Roaring Twenties. Made from carefully selected raspberries, this liqueur reveals all the freshness and intensity of the fruit thanks to mastered artisanal know-how. The raspberries, harvested at perfect ripeness, are chosen for their aromatic intensity and beautiful natural color. They are then macerated to gradually extract all their aromatic richness. The macerate is slowly distilled with a Stupfler© column still, allowing the expression of raspberry to be concentrated while avoiding bitterness or heaviness. A second quick maceration of raspberries gives the liqueur its superb natural color and further enhances its aromatic intensity, without any artificial coloring or flavoring. On tasting, Biarritz Bonheur Raspberry is very expressive, indulgent, and fruity, with clear notes of raspberry coulis and fresh fruit. Its low sugar content allows the delicate aromatic profile of the raspberry to shine through. It should be served very cold, between 8 and 12 °C, or over ice, for a fresh, intense, and indulgent tasting experience. It pairs perfectly with chocolate desserts.
