This is the third bottle from the liquid book that we are writing together with Roman Vaněk.
We had it in the works for years, long years. It comes 5 years after the first chapter. But in the end, it succeeded, and you can taste Parfait d’Amour in its original form as well.
Parfait d’Amour is a liqueur with a long and somewhat mysterious history. It appeared in Europe as a symbol of elegance, romance, and refined taste as early as the 18th century. It was created as a perfume among liqueurs – delicate, floral, citrusy, with hints of spice and almonds. A liqueur that was not consumed in haste, but in small sips.
Our version of Parfait d’Amour follows this tradition – with respect for history, but crafted with a modern artisanal approach.
The aroma first opens with floral notes – rose and orange blossom – followed by fresh citrus. The taste is gently sweet, smooth, and elegant. The sweetness is balanced, never heavy. Gradually, almonds, anise, and spices emerge, adding depth and a long, slightly spicy finish.
The sweetness is the only thing we adjusted compared to the original. The original was brutal, completely unsuitable for today's times.
The color is naturally ruby red with a subtle purple hue – rich, reminiscent of the color of the heart and love. It is achieved with the natural dye cochineal (carmine). Completely according to the original recipe. All modern replicas you may encounter on the market use two synthetic colors instead of one natural color.

How to enjoy it
Parfait d’Amour is beautiful: on its own, slightly chilled, as an elegant digestif, in cocktails – with gin, vodka, or champagne, or as a delicate aromatic accent in classic recipes
As with the previous two chapters, once sold out, no further edition will be produced. The total batch is 1000 bottles.
