Founded in 1984 in Estremoz, SEL – Salsicharia Estremocense began as a small family-run business and has grown into one of Portugal’s leading producers of traditional Alentejo cured meats.

Today, SEL produces a wide range of cured meats, Porco Preto (Iberian Black Pork) products, sliced charcuterie, and the renowned Varanegra Ham, serving customers across several international markets.
