The King Beef – AOP Marcillac is a red wine from the South-West designed to enhance fine cuts of meat, particularly Aubrac beef. Crafted by Lionel Osmin & Cie from 100% Mansois, this cuvée offers a gourmet, digestible, and friendly profile, true to the character of the Marcillac terroir. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a brilliant and intense color. The nose expresses elegant aromas of licorice, violet, peony, and red pepper, accompanied by a lovely touch of black fruits. On the palate, the wine is ample and balanced, with present yet silky tannins, a pleasant freshness, and a velvety finish. Served around 15 °C, The King Beef pairs perfectly with a rib of beef, braised beef cheek, a pot-au-feu, or any other generous beef dish. A characterful red wine, ideal for lovers of authentic pairings between terroir, quality meat, and dining pleasure.
