Description of Mišmáčka:
Medlar - an old fruit variety that was widely cultivated in the Middle Ages, but its cultivation likely dates back to around 3000 years ago. Currently, this species is very rare in our region, making it more of a rarity. The fruits are harvested only after they have softened, having gone through frost, at which point they also lose their astringent taste. A fruity, spicy, and slightly tangy sauce suitable primarily for grilling and meats. The main ingredient is medlar, and it also contains apples, tomatoes, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and spices. The sauce is blended to a relatively smooth consistency but may contain small pieces of individual ingredients.

We have fine-tuned Mišmáčka as a grilling sauce. Try it with poultry, in burgers, or with game meat.
