Reserved Cuvée – AOP Corbières is a red wine with a silky and structured profile, made from vines aged 20 to 45 years. This cuvée is crafted from a typical Languedoc blend: Carignan 50%, Grenache 25%, Mourvèdre 15%, and Syrah 10%. The vines grow on soils of rolled pebbles, clay-limestone, and sandstone, with manual harvesting. The vinification relies on a carbonic maceration of 12 days, followed by aging in tanks complemented by 6 months in oak barrels. This aging brings roundness, depth, and a beautiful mouthfeel. This Reserved Cuvée delights with its balance between substance, softness, and structure. Its aging potential is estimated at 8 years and more, with a period of full expression between 3 and 6 years. It pairs ideally with grilled lamb chops or red meats, for a generous and authentic match.
