Flaxseed oil is produced from the seeds of the flax plant (lat. Linum usitatissimum). Flax seeds and flaxseed oil are rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential fatty acid that is very beneficial for normal heart function.
It should also be noted that many sources state that one tablespoon of flax seeds contains about 2 grams of omega-3 fatty acids, which is technically correct, but the body does not utilize that amount to such an extent. In fact, one tablespoon of flax seeds contains about 700 milligrams of EPA and DHA that will be usable in the body. Fish and seafood are the foods richest in EPA and DHA.
The beneficial components of flaxseed oil include fatty acids such as: alpha-linolenic (omega-3 fatty acid), palmitic, oleic, and stearic, as well as cyclolinopeptides. Since they are rich in fiber, flax seeds are a "natural laxative" and help in cases of constipation. Flaxseed oil will help speed up and ease the process of food digestion.
Nutritional applications / recipe suggestions;
Flaxseed oil can be used for preparing cold salads, hot soups, and sauces. It pairs excellently with fresh cheese and provides a nutritionally balanced meal.
It can be used as an emulsifier in various vegetable spreads, added to smoothies, drizzled on salads, used cold – do not heat.
You can season cold vegetable dishes with it and add it to morning cereals/oatmeal, drizzle a few drops into pancake batter for better aroma, enhance cheese spreads.

Usage:
Flaxseed oil is completely safe and very rarely causes allergies for most people.
Flax oil has a low smoke point, so it should not be heated as it would lose its nutritional and medicinal properties. Therefore, we add it directly to dishes. Flax oil is sensitive to light and temperature and prone to oxidation. Flaxseed oil should be stored in the refrigerator, well sealed. The same applies to flaxseed oil in capsules. The shelf life of the oil after opening is up to one month.

Adults: 3-5 teaspoons daily either with a meal or after a meal.
For constipation, 1 teaspoon daily.
Storage conditions: store in a cool and dark place.
