All steel cooking pieces are equipped with a special thermodiffuser base patented by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - consisting of a core of pure aluminum 'trapped' inside a double bottom of stainless steel. The use of this base allows for optimal heat distribution over the body of the pot with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using the utensils on gas, electric plates, glass-ceramic, and induction. All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to materials, shapes, and contact surfaces with the body of the pot. The lid fits into a conical shape that prevents it from jumping during cooking, and from releasing steam, thus wasting heat unnecessarily.
