By the way, our oak wood looks really trendy: sanded smooth, with bold knots. It fits well in an industrial interior. Want a more classic look? Then you can finish the pedestal with oil or varnish. We can do that for you for an additional cost, no problem. If you give the oak a finish with a dark or black matte varnish, it gives the pedestal a rugged industrial appearance, with the advantage that you can still see the grain structure.
To make these columns, we glue 3 cm thick oak boards. The pedestal is closed all around and has a hollow interior. It stands firmly on the ground!
