ACTION AND APPLICATION: The plant has a wide application in folk medicine for eye diseases such as mucous membrane inflammation (conjunctivitis) and similar conditions. It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as for children under 12 years of age.
PREPARATION: The plant is used exclusively for external application as an eye wash prepared in the following way: 2-3 g (1 - 2 teaspoons) of finely chopped herb is poured with 150 - 200 ml (1 - 2 cups) of boiling water, left to stand covered for 5-10 minutes, and then strained. Allow to cool and then use 3-4 times a day for eye washing.
