The Galician red mullet (Pagellus acarne) is a perciform fish from the family of mullets (ollomol). Its coloration is pink, with a distinctive small light black line that runs from the pectoral fins to the tail. It can generally be found at depths of up to 50 meters.
The red mullet is very similar to the mullet (ollomol), which is why they are often confused with each other as they look very alike.
