Plum Dressing with Poppy Seeds — a taste that won't leave your meal ordinary
A few drizzles over a salad and suddenly the vegetables taste like a meal you've been looking forward to all day.
You don't have to change the entire recipe. Just add a small amount, taste, and watch how familiar ingredients come together into a fuller, more interesting bite.
Where to use it first
- on leafy and vegetable salads
- with roasted or grilled vegetables
- in grain bowls and couscous
- as a quick marinade or dip
Fruity plum, gentle sweetness, and the crunch of poppy seeds.
A small amount is enough to give ordinary food a more pronounced, thoughtful flavor.
Plum Depth with an Unexpected Touch of Poppy
Plums create a full fruity base, balsamic vinegar adds a pleasant acidity, and brown sugar rounds out the flavor gently. Ginger, garlic, and ground poppy seeds create a distinctive dressing that also works as an original complement to cheeses.
Just shake and pour — a quick seasoning with an unusual but harmonious combination of flavors.
How to enjoy it
- on a leafy salad with goat cheese or feta,
- with roasted beets and root vegetables,
- as a sauce for cheeses, meats, or in a sandwich.
