First, the rum ages for 6 years in its place of origin in bourbon barrels, then it is transported to Europe and stored in barrels that previously held fortified wines - Spanish sherry and French banyuls for further aging using the Solera system for 4 years.
The combination of three cultures, Caribbean, Spanish, and French, brings an unprecedented harmony of taste and aroma in the final product.
