Apricot Orchards R. JELÍNEK
Since 2013, we have been taking care of 81 hectares of apricot orchards in South Moravia, around Starovice and Velké Němčice, where we mainly grow the traditional variety Velkopavlovická.
Apricot brandy is an exceptional fruit distillate with an enchanting aroma of ripe apricots, a subtle hint of pits, and a harmonious fruity taste. Due to its smoothness, it appeals not only to lovers of traditional spirits.
The tradition of distilling in Vizovice dates back to the 16th century. Although the production of plum brandy has dominated here for centuries, apricot brandy has had its firm place in South Moravia since the 19th century. The company RUDOLF JELÍNEK thus builds on many years of experience and traditional production methods, which, combined with modern technologies, create distillates of the highest quality.
The basis for the production of apricot brandy is carefully matured apricot mash, in which the pits remain during the aging process. These give the distillate its characteristic subtly almond tone and pleasant structure.
For maximum development of flavor and aroma, we recommend serving apricot brandy at room temperature. Only then will its rich fruity character and exceptional smoothness truly shine.
