The climate of the Wallachian region has favored plums and their cultivation for centuries. Therefore, we continued the fruit-growing tradition in 2003 and started planting our own plum orchards on the southern slope of the Vizovice valley, in an area called Těchlov. We always harvest the plums by individual varieties and must distill them in the same way. After at least a year and a half of aging, we select one distillate together with the members of the Friends of Jelínek's Plum Brandy Association, which we bottle as the anniversary, limited Vizovice Plum Brandy R. JELÍNEK.
We started the productionof Vizovice Plum Brandy in 2008.Since 2021 we have also been bringing to the market the results of our experimentsin the form of single cask editions.
