Two teas. Two tempos. One daily rhythm. From Zhejiang’s spring gardens to your bowl, and into the slow roast of a café-style hojicha latte. This bundle pairs Matcha 7A (Longjing 43) with Hojicha Powder: one bright, green, and lifting, one toasty, mellow, and made for afternoons. A simple ritual for focus + ease, morning + evening.
What’s inside
Matcha 7A — Longjing 43 𓏲 (50g) Single-origin matcha green tea powder from Zhejiang, China, stone-milled from early spring leaves for a clean, chestnut-sweet cup with a bright green lift and a soft, refreshing finish.
Hojicha Powder (50g) Roasted green tea, reimagined for slow afternoons. A silky hojicha-style roasted green tea powder from China, milled for instant café-style lattes. Smooth, toasty, naturally mellow, with that warm “caramel-nut” comfort and almost no bitterness.
What it tastes like
Matcha: naturally sweet, nutty (roasted chestnut), fresh spring greens, light astringency | smooth + gently foamy when whisked
Hojicha: toasted nuts, warm cereal, caramel-like sweetness, gentle cocoa-ish depth | silky and latte-smooth
What it’s for
Matcha: traditional whisking (usucha), premium matcha moments, gifting, daily ritual matcha, lattes, matcha lemonade | morning to mid-afternoon
Hojicha: afternoon rituals, caffeine-light moments, post-meal sipping, cozy evenings | afternoon or evening
Previously loved our Japan ceremonial? Here’s how this matcha differs.
Origin & cultivar: Longjing 43 (China), not Saemidori (Japan)
Taste: more chestnut-sweet + fresh green, less deep seaweed-like umami
Finish: brighter, lighter, more refreshing with the same matcha lift
For the closest “ceremonial-style” feel: use 70–75 °C water and a slightly lighter dose for extra smoothness.
How to make it
Matcha (Usucha / Thin Tea) Sift 1–2 tsp into a bowl. Add 60 ml of 70–80 °C water. Whisk until a fine foam forms. Top with more water if you like. Iced / Latte tip: Whisk with a small splash of warm water first, then add cold water or milk.
Hojicha Latte Whisk 1–2 tsp with a splash of 80–90 °C water until smooth. Top with warm milk. Sweeten to taste if you like. Iced tip: Whisk with a small splash of warm water first, then add cold milk + ice.
Ingredients
Matcha: 100% green tea powder (Longjing 43 cultivar)
Hojicha: 100% roasted green tea powder (origin: China)
