Malvazija Kakadu 2017 comes from a vineyard in Manžan, approximately 90 meters above sea level, overlooking the Gulf of Koper and the Julian Alps. A seven-day maceration and long aging have created a malvasia of distinct yet beautifully refined character.

Seven days of maceration

The grapes were macerated for seven days. The wine then aged for a year and a half in stainless steel tanks and for another two years in acacia barrels, where it gained additional depth, texture, and gentle spiciness.

In the glass

Kakadu has 13.5% alcohol, a full structure, and an aromatic profile that intertwines buttery notes, elderflower, vanilla, pollen, and delicate herbal nuances. Freshness keeps the wine lively and gastronomically versatile.

At the table

It pairs excellently with roasted fennel with blue cheese and walnuts, pork chops, roasted pumpkin with thyme, aged cheese, and richer vegetable dishes.
