In the glassworks of Strání, an old book of drawings from 1907 was discovered in April 2013, which surprisingly included an absinthe glass (then under the name absynth)! The first evidence of the production of absinthe accessories in Bohemia before the absinthe ban in France in 1915.
In collaboration with the glassmakers who already produce our existing glasses and demijohns, we have prepared a precise replica of the first known Czech glass model 1907.
A beautiful, handmade and blown glass made of crystal glass with a height of 162 mm and a diameter of 80 mm at its widest point. The reservoir for absinthe has a volume of 25 ml, and the thickness of the glass is 2 mm. When you clink them together, they sound like a bell.
