Liqueur obtained by macerating virgin honeycombs in a fine, 35% distillate from mead. This has resulted in a drink that combines the best of nature: the healing effects of bee products – honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis, and antibacterial substances from beeswax with the fiery nature of the distillate from mead.
Every year, only a very limited quantity (on the order of hundreds of bottles) of Honey Liqueur is produced. This is due to the honey collection period (from May to the end of July) and the amount of royal jelly and propolis. All raw materials used come exclusively from our own beekeeping farm.
The very limited production makes Honey a specialty similar to straw or ice wine.
All Honey Liqueur has been unfiltered and bottled in brown bottles since December 2015. This quickly leads to the formation of sediment, a highly sought-after (and expensive) sediment. It is honey that is not perfectly soluble. Before opening, shake the bottle and enjoy all the contents in good health. It is one of the few honey liqueurs made truly from honey and nothing else.
