Our long-time fans remember that in 2011 we released a very small series of bottles Oak Barrel Vínovice. We promised another for 2018, but it didn't work out. We actually distilled it in 2017 and after three years, we are launching it in spring 2021.
It is a distillate made from Moravian wines from our winemaker friends, most commonly represented by Grüner Veltliner.
We aged it for three years in white oak barrels that are charred on the inside. It is this charred wood that contributes to the final color, structure, flavor, and sweetness of the originally clear distillate.
