What are Drunken Apricots
Drunken apricots are delicate and fragrant jelly with a pronounced apricot aroma and flavor, which despite their name contains no alcohol. To enhance the natural aroma, we have flavored them with traditional Moravian apricot brandy, from which the alcohol evaporates during cooking, making them suitable for abstainers and children.
How it Tastes
The jelly has a silky smooth texture. The taste is distinctly apricot, supported by the aroma of the brandy, sweet with balanced acidity and a light salty accent at the end.
Usage Tips
Drunken apricots are a delicacy that pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses, roasted poultry, or fine pâtés. They can also be used on pancakes, fritters, and in doughnuts, or as a refreshing ingredient in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
