ACTION AND APPLICATION: The lichen acids from this plant show antibiotic and immunostimulatory effects. Due to these characteristics, the plant is used for colds and respiratory diseases, inflammation of the stomach and intestines, and to stimulate appetite. It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

PREPARATION: Pour 1.5 g (1 teaspoon) of the plant with about 150 ml (1 cup) of boiling water. Let it steep covered for 10-15 minutes and then strain. Drink one cup 3-4 times a day. The daily dose is 4.5 - 6 g.
