Organic Fairtrade Cashew kg

Cashew halves, high quality, with Bio and Fairtrade certification (fair trade). Origin: Africa (Guinea-Bissau/Burkina Faso). We chose this origin because it was important for us that: the cashew had fairtrade certification (in addition to being organic), for which we pay an increased price, in order to ensure decent wages, physical safety for workers, and no use of child labor. Sourced from small producers and processed locally. A large part of the cashew that arrives in Europe, 'made in' Vietnam and India, is actually grown in Africa and then sent to those countries to be processed/packaged. We prefer to shorten these distances and ensure that a larger portion of the sale value remains in the country that cultivates it and with its producers. The cashew is vacuum packed for better preservation. Shelf life: 12 months.
