BEEBLU
The BEEBLU blueberry liqueur is a unique fusion of wild blueberries and natural honey, creating a rich, velvety liqueur. HONEY
The honey must be in the exact natural ratio between linden and chestnut, which is why honey can only be harvested for 1-2 weeks a year.
Our Bela Krajina honey contains absolutely no artificial sugar, due to the buckwheat pasture during a poor season, ensuring that the honey has minimal residual artificial sugar from feeding.
SPIRITS
The spirits must contain at least 70% apple, due to neutrality, while the remaining percentage is complemented by pear and plum for aroma and flavor.
Thus, in 1 liter of Beeblu, we find as much as 5 kg of apples.
PRODUCTION
We combine honey and carefully selected Koroška forest blueberries and let them mature with the yeast in a controlled environment for a period of two weeks. After the primary maturation is completed, we gently and naturally filter the mixture with high-quality Bela Krajina flax to preserve the purity and richness of flavors. This is followed by another week of maturation, allowing the full aroma and harmony of the ingredients to develop.
Xylocopa violacea
Commonly known as the blue bee, its official name is the wood bee (Xylocopa violacea). It is dark in color, black and blue, and is the largest bee that can be seen in Slovenia.
