History and Tradition The Mignon Zuccanera is born from the evolution of the iconic Zuccanera, the first artisanal cheese from the La Via Lattea Dairy. Its creation dates back to 2004, during the Christmas dinner organized by Salumeria Roscioli in the Vatican, where a cheese cart paraded among the guests before being served with a clock-style presentation. The idea behind it? To surprise diners with a slice that revealed, at 12 o'clock, the colors of the Vatican flag. This mignon version, weighing about 120 g, retains the elegance and complexity of the original recipe, offering a unique tasting experience even in a small format.
